We welcome new talent. Over the years we have taken on numerous trainees, ran regular apprenticeship programmes in conjunction with local schemes and recruited graduates on permanent and temporary work placement initiatives.

Many of our people have progressed their careers with Turner Access by starting at an entry level position.

Paul was promoted to Supervisor three years ago, and successfully runs the majority of our contracts on the East coast of the country. He is a valued member of the team and we’re lucky to have him!

Turner Access is supporting Glasgow’s young athletes! 14 year-old Aaron Dempsey has been selected to represent TeamScotland in the World Kickboxing Championships 2023 in Orlando Florida! Despite only taking up the sport three years ago, Aaron’s hard work, dedication and commitment to training with RMKB Fitness and Martial Arts has paid off. After a gruelling three-hour sparing match with some of the country’s best Aaron beat off more than 100 other competitors to secure his place on the team. Aaron is delighted and looking forward to the World Championships in Orlando however, he needs your help to get there! Travelling and competing at this level is expensive. 🚛 Meet #TeamTurner 🏗⠀ ⠀ Say hello 👋🏻 to David!⠀ ⠀ David has been with Turner since 1989! ⠀ ⠀ He started as a Yard Labourer straight from school and then trained to be a scaffolder, obtaining his Part 1 and Part 2 in scaffolding. ⠀ ⠀ After a few years on the tools, he then moved in the office, trained as an Estimator. ⠀ ⠀ With a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the business David moved on to run the Cowdenbeath yard, before returning to run the main Glasgow yard, becoming the Yard and Logistics Manager.⠀ ⠀ We’re lucky to have had him all this time! ⠀ ⠀ #scottishconstruction #scottishscaffoling

Giving back! 🏗 ⠀ ⠀ Last Monday we carried out some work for Bam Construction at the Memorial Park Community Centre in Methill, Fife.⠀ ⠀ This is a community project that our colleagues at Bam have taken on and we provided the scaffold works free of charge to help out with some roof repair works! ⠀ ⠀ An excellent project that we’re delighted to have been a part of!

‘Tis the season for giving… 🎄🎁⠀ ⠀ Due to a number of staff self isolating we were unable to enjoy our Christmas night out at the Marriott this weekend. ⠀ ⠀ But, making the best out of a bad situation, we decide to donate our table to local charity Kickin’ On! ⠀ ⠀ They are a grassroots mental health and addition support service. ⠀ ⠀ We hope a good night was had on our behalf!

Our scaffolding is now down from the Pennywell site in North Edinburgh, where we’ve been working with Robertson Partnership Homes. ⠀ ⠀ The new affordable homes being built here are fantastic and we’re delighted to have played a part in the regeneration of the area!
