This development of 48 flats for social rent will be delivered by CCG on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council. The project involves the conversion of a former YMCA building and construction of two, new flatted blocks and it will be delivered entirely to a low-carbon (non-gas) standard of build, set for completion summer-2024.

Does anyone recognise this building? 🤔
If you guessed Ross Hall then you’d be correct! This lovely building is a hospital now, but has had some fascinating uses over the years.
It was built 1877 and was at one time the residence of the owner of the Lobnitz shipyards on the River Clyde and later the 'Scottish Hotel School' linked to the University of Strathclyde.

14 year-old Aaron Dempsey has been selected to represent TeamScotland in the World Kickboxing Championships 2023 in Orlando Florida!
Despite only taking up the sport three years ago, Aaron’s hard work, dedication and commitment to training with RMKB Fitness and Martial Arts has paid off. After a gruelling three-hour sparing match with some of the country’s best Aaron beat off more than 100 other competitors to secure his place on the team.
Aaron is delighted and looking forward to the World Championships in Orlando however, he needs your help to get there!
Travelling and competing at this level is expensive. By sponsoring a young athlete, you will be supporting a dream – and Aaron is determined to go to Florida and bring home the gold to make everyone who believes in him proud!

Granton Plot D1 is one of two confirmed projects that will be led by CCG on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council in the district with 75, one-and-two-bedroom flats and 3 commercial units set to be created upon a brownfield site adjacent to the former Grade B Listed Granton Railway Station.

David has been with Turner since 1989! ⠀

He started as a Yard Labourer straight from school and then trained to be a scaffolder, obtaining his Part 1 and Part 2 in scaffolding. ⠀

After a few years on the tools, he then moved in the office, trained as an Estimator. ⠀
⠀
With a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the business David moved on to run the Cowdenbeath yard, before returning to run the main Glasgow yard, becoming the Yard and Logistics Manager.⠀

We’re lucky to have had him all this time! ⠀

Mark started with us 8 years ago as a labourer. He then trained through the CITB Adult apprenticeship scheme to be a scaffolder. After several years harnessing his skills on sites Mark has been promoted to Trainee Supervisor.⠀

Ross MacDonald is our Main Estimator within Turner Access. He also helps manage the Small Works Team, which primarily deals with our South Lanarkshire Council contract.⠀

Ross has been with the team for two years and has brought in new clients.⠀

He enjoys being in the office as well as being on site measuring new contracts!

Last Monday we carried out some work for Bam Construction at the Memorial Park Community Centre in Methill, Fife.⠀

This is a community project that our colleagues at Bam have taken on and we provided the scaffold works free of charge to help out with some roof repair works! ⠀
